Behind the spray…

Looking good and feeling good often go together — but I’ve learned that true wellness goes so much deeper than what we see on the outside. Health really is wealth, and taking care of my body is something I no longer take lightly. Scripture says, “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit… Therefore honor God with your bodies” (1 Corinthians 6:19–20). That verse means so much more to me now than it used to.

For years, I spent countless hours in tanning beds and laying out in the sun, not realizing the damage I was causing. Tanning beds expose your skin to intense UV radiation that speeds up aging, causes wrinkles and sunspots, and significantly increases the risk of skin cancer. I believe we do need sun exposure for our bodies to function at their highest potential, but too much sun breaks down collagen, dries out your skin, and carries many of the same long-term risks.

My wake-up call came in 2006 when my Daddy was diagnosed with Metastatic Melanoma at the age of 50; and lost his battle with it just 3 short months later. That moment truly shifted my perspective. I wanted to be around for my kids and see them grow and build their own families.

That’s when I turned to spray tanning. I realized I could still enjoy a beautiful, bronzed glow without compromising my health. It felt like the best of both worlds — confidence without the consequences.

A few years later, after being diagnosed with auto-immune issues, my commitment to clean living became even stronger. I became very intentional about what I put in — and on — my body. I truly believe caring for our health is both a personal responsibility and an act of faith.

That’s why I personally use and offer clean spray tanning solutions free from harmful additives or artificial dyes. It’s something I trust not only for myself, but for every client I serve.

I’m so grateful I get to help others feel confident, radiant, and safe in their own skin — honoring the bodies God gave us while glowing from the inside out.
